LONG TRACE OF MINNEAPOLISA Walking Project by Larsen Husby
“Walking itself is the intentional act closest to to the unwilled rhythms of the body, to breathing and the beating of the heart... It is bodily labor that produces nothing but thoughts, experiences, arrivals.” — Rebecca Solnit
During the course of this project, I have been keeping an informal journal of the experience, a document I refer to as my “Walking Thoughts.” From these thoughts I am compiling a series of essays, a written reflection of the journey which I will add to periodically as the project continues. Some of these are about the project, as an experience and as an artwork. Others are explorations of observations made on my walks about the city itself. Click on a link below to read the essay.
